Een goudgele zonnige kleur en fruitige smaak. De zorgvuldig geselecteerde mengeling van bleke moutsoorten zorgt voor een ronde fruitige smaak met een bittere ondertoets.

Satan Gold -> 330ml bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small off-white head. Aroma of peach, malt, boozey notes. Sweet, fruity and moderately spicy taste followed by a bitter and slightly alcoholic finish.

7/VI/15 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 28/V/17 (2015-757)

Little hazy blond to almost orange beer, irregular frothy white head, little stable, non adhesive, falls down fast. Aroma: bit metallic, banana peel, green banana, sweet, yeast. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, banana, quite some coriander, spicy touch, bit sweet. Aftertaste: some citrus, alcohol, pretty bitter, coriander, not as bad as I feared. Either they changed the recipe or this beer is heavily underrated on ratebeer.

Clear golden colour. Aroma has a metallic edge. Flavour has a yeasty tang. Quite an easy to drink and refreshing beer.

Pours a bit darker shade of golden, topped with average white head. Malty aroma, mostly, some notes of alcohol quite easy to pick up. Taste starts sweet and malty, bitterness in the finish as well as some unpleasant alcohol notes. Not to my liking.

Gyllengul färg med lätt vitt skum. Doftar typ ingenting. Smakar lika lite. En skitöl på ren svenska.

Piana żółtawa, szybko opadająca z lekką koronką. Pierwszy kontakt - zapach delikatnie kwaskowy, słodowy,
owocowy a dokładniej brzoskwinia, nieznacznie drożdżowy.

Appearance: Clear deep golden color with an ok white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Deep malty, some spices, some alcohol and fruity.
Palate: Medium to full body. A bit sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Sweet caramel malty, mild hoppy, some spices and fruity. Some alcohol.
Overall impression: A bit to sweet and to much alcohol for my likings.
Personal stats: Bottle from Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht, Holland

Tasted as Satan Gold and as Ne Kasseistamper (which was originally a related brew but now apparently the same). Thinnish, cream white, not entirely stable head, colour deep ’old gold’, amber-like, hazy with deposit. Aroma of honeyish malts, orange liqueur, peach, white pepper, sweet white wine, coriander, cinnamon, cloves. Sweet onset, fruity, candied orange, supple caramel malt base, some dry spiciness in the middle (my guess is coriander), warming alcohol in the finish with mild herbal hop without true bitterness. One of those beers inspired by the great Duvel, but more a tripel than a true ’edelbier’.
