In the hop fields we daydream and study, and at the brewery we tinker and test. For Field Study, dry-hopping delivers notes of ripe grapefruit, mango, pear and melon. Add a backbone of local rustic pale malt, and Field Study is just what we were after: a slightly hazy yet bright summer daydream come true.

Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Troeg's.
Appearance: hazy yellow color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: lemony hop bitterness, grassy hop bitterness, subtle pine, and blended citrusy hoppiness; light clean malts
Flavor: bittersweet through the prior noted aromas; finishes lemony, grassy and slightly piney
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but also the right level of hop bitterness
Overall: good AIPA worthy of having again.

Can. Poured a slightly cloudy yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was zesty lemon. Big citrus. Light resin, tropical fruit. A good, mostly balanced beer, or at least balanced for 2023. Would drink again.
