Can (5.2%) from local Polish shop – drank at home. Pours a pale straw with a large frothy white head. Not much of an aroma – just some grains. In the mouth it is light, smooth and sweet. With honey, corn, malts and a hint of ginger. The finish odes have a little bitterness though. Inoffensive and quaffable.

Malt and grain aroma, some grassy notes. Sweet, malty bread taste with a hint of bitterness.

500 ml can into lager glass, best before 8/5/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear medium golden/amber color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces top a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no yeast notes present. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a nice pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful and well balanced; with more hop presence than most Euro pale lagers. A nicely enjoyable offering.

From bottle at Novotel Centrum Krakow 25.09.14. Clear golden. Foamy and persistent white head and lacing. Lots of bubbles. Moderate, but fine aroma, of pilsner hops. Equally moderate, but slightly crude, pilsner taste. Well balanced. Slightly earthy bitterness in aftertaste.
