Bottle. Clear gold with a firm white head. Aroma of grains, grass and some lemons. Taste follows aroma. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Refreshing. I usually don't like neither Flensburger nor so-called Gold beers very much but this one seemed alright. Being served cold and for free on a sunny afternoon may have played a part.

Another one from the "skidanje s kurca" shopping spree at Kaufland Split, the last one to be drunk solo, before going to get wased with heavy on the 3 remaining ones. Yay! Clear yellow-golden (HA!) body, with a big but immediately disappearing white head. Aroma... hm.. sulphury (but not that off) dry grainy taste, crackery in a way. Taste... again, eggy, grainy, sweetishin up front but ending dry. Light, very light lemony hoppy touches. Eh. The first few sips had me going that this was just a classic German Pils with lower hops, but somehow some sweetness did open up and the hops did show up from underneath. The German "Gold" fad was not the best fad ever if you ask me (or most people), but I’ve had worse beers than this.

Klare, goldene Farbe mit kleiner, weißer Schaumkrone. Im Geruch Citrus, leicht grasig, malzig. Unaufdringlicher, simpler Geschmack, ausbalanciert bitter-malzig, aufkommende Trockenheit, Citrus, leicht grasig. Ok.

Bottle at PIB 2017, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out some boiled vegetables and herbal quality. Flavour is similar, with herbal and vegetal notes. Ordinary but clean enough. A little too vegetal for me. Cheap shitty German helles.

(Bottle, Café Pigo, Duved, Sweden, 22 March 2017) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, cereal, grass, hay and a touch of citrus. Malty taste with notes of bread, cereal, grass and a balanced herbal bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Flawless, middle-of-the-roadish, hardy exciting. Enjoyable.

Fresh hoppy nose. Clear medium golden, good two finger frothy white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma sweet malts, grain, straw, paper. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy. Dry sweetbitter aftertaste, cardboard notes, medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, meh.

Brilliant gold pouring. Tall fluffy head. Low retention. Weak aroma. A hint of malts. Noble hops. Light body. Clean malts and herbal hops on taste. Light bitterness. Very drinkable.
