Buena.

Bottle from Cervemur, Murcia, Spain. Pours a deep dark brown colour, almost black, with a small off white head. Aroma of chocolate, raosted malt, bread and dark fruit, with a slight sourness to it. Medium sweet, oily texture, soft carbonation. It’s ok.

At a tasting, thanks Tom, quite clear medium brown colour, aroma of wood, carob, a hint of candy and just a touch of roastiness, flavour of wood, light chocolate with a touch of charred wood, way too sour and not enough body. Not good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Tom L. Brown-colored with a beige head. Aroma of a bit of roastiness, milk chocolate, a bit of fruitiness, candies and yeasty and acidic notes. Sweetish-sourish flavor with a bit of roastiness, a bit of yeast, a bit of chocolate and some weird fruitiness. Light to medium-bodied. Not so good.

33cl bottle bought at AMCA’12 (Madrid). Black colour with a minimal formation of an off-white and quickly diminishing head. Aroma is slightly toasty and sourish. Flavour has notes os roasted malts, with a moderate bitterness. Watery final. Carbonation is medium. Body is light.

Bottle from Venerables. Unclear brown colour, off-white fast disappearing bubbles. Nose is fruity, light roasted malts, sour. Flavour is sour, musty, light malted, bit of roastiness, fruits. Sour finish. Indeed either infected or very poorly done.

Bottled 330ml (BB 07/2012, OPP)
Dark nut brown color, small beige head. Cellary, woody aroma. Light bodied. Leather malts, sourness, cellary flavor. Can’t find much dry stout under the infection. Their other beers which I heard, are even in the worst shape.
