The elegant dark colour of the beer is owing to the use of dark-toasted malt.

0.5 flaske fra Kvickly Nørrebro, delt med Kitty på hytta jan-18: brunsvart med ok skum. Selv om den har en ok røstet aroma og smak med hint av kaffe falt den helt igjennom etter Ørbæks stort med sjokolade og chili. Slank og lettdrikkelig, men samtidig helt forglemmelig.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, light brown head. Taste: Medium sweet roasted malts. Almost no bitterness. Brown sugar. Medium body, below medium carbonation. Pretty flat stout. No excitement.

50cl bottle from a trade with Rasmus40, many thanks! Pours almost black with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet chocolate malt, some toffee and vanilla. Taste of sweet malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, mild roasted malt, red malt, okay!

Röstig malziger Antrunk auf geringem Level. Geringe Herbe, weich, die Malzigkeit ist in Teilen zu mild. Leicht würzig, insgesamt steigen die Aromen etwas an. Brotig, eher kurzer Nachhall, immerhin mit karamelligem Hauch. 10/8/8/8/6/8

Rated from old notes. Creamy and smooth with lots of caramel and a faint bitter aftertaste. Likeable but nothing extraordinary.

0,5 l bottle. And yes, again from the Kvickly in Nykøbing/F. Pours out really black with a creamy two finger beige head. Looks good. Light roasted nose with berriefruits. Taste starts roasted malty, light sweetness, some coffie and some bitter elements. Getting thin and metallic to the end.
