Bottle sample at a tasting at Rotem’s place. Thanks Rotem. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, a bit of oxidation and caramel. Sweetish flavor, caramelly and a bit toasty with some cardboard. Light to medium-bodied.

33cl bottle, 5.2%, 0.65€ from Padova plant. Amber beer with a creamy offwhite head, reducing to a fair lace. Caramel on nose. Sweet toasted malts and caramel, a gentle grassy hoppiness. Texture is watery, body medium to light, final is dry with a very light bitterness, roasted tones, a bit sour. Not perfectly balanced indeed, but a nice variation, it’s good to have a red beer that don’t get you boozed in 10 minutes. Nice surprise from Peroni, far better than expected.
