For Twice the Daily Serving, we've amplified the mouthfeel, fruit addition, and ABV to achieve our most expressive and luscious fruit beer to date. Featuring outrageous amounts of black currant, boysenberry, and blackberry, the appearance is a gorgeous deep plum color with a magenta-tinged head. On the palate, sweet berry preserves dominate, with pretty red fruit highlights adding nuance.

Burk från DrikBeer. Tjock mörk rödlila opak med liten rosaröd krona. Massivt syltig koncentrerad bärpuré utan syrlighet eller balans. Blir alldeles för skarp och fadd utan något som helst som balanserar upp. Mer en tjock fruktslushie än något annat.

440ml can shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a murky deep burgundy colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is rich red berry fruits, blackberries. The flavour is moderate sweet, light sour, with a smooth, rich, fresh, super juicy, light tart palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. This really is alcoholic fruit juice.

1 pint can from Hoptimaal online store. Canned on 22.9.2020. Dark purple beer with medium but quite quickly vanishing purple head. Aroma has sweet malts, intensive berry notes and some lactose. Flavor has huge amount of berries, blackcurrant mainly. Lactose and vanilla too. Only slightly tart. Very sweet this is, like a sweet smoothie but actually very good.

Can, 7%. Dark ruby with medium pink head. Aroma is malt, fruit, berries and black currant. Flavour is malt, fruit, black currant, sweet, berries, dark fruit, little citric and candy.

473ml can. Sweet and slightly tart with massive amounts of berry juice, some fruits, lactose, blackcurrant and blackberries. Quite intense with the berry notes but this contains twice the daily serving of sugar as well.

Taster at home courtesy of Sander, big thanks. dark purple murky color, small purple head. smells boysenberry, citric, some blackberry, some bergamot, herbal, lactose, slight tannins, actually very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes sweet, lactose, vanilla, bit citric, some undefiend berry notes, fruit pulpy, light blackberries. finishes medium sweet with notes lactose, vanilla and some fruit pulp notes. liked the smell, taste is not bad but also quite sweet and heavy. not totally my thing.

So this is pure berries and currants. There’s almost no sourness, it’s just fresh fruit, thick and lush.

Fruity and a bit jammy, sweet, some sourness, no tartness. Dark berries, maybe raspberry, blackberry hints. Fairly standard as fruited sours go, very nice.
