bottle at home from trip to Fins... copper thin lacing .... sweet toffee ... over fizzy ... toffee ... little caramel sugers ... very so so ... not workin for me ...

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with an off-white head and a brown body. Aroma of tangerine, dried fruits, tea and jasmine. Taste is apricot, metal and dried fruits. Fizzy mouthfeel.

Light brown color with orange tints and a thin head. Fruity, spicy aroma, light caramel, some citrus, rather sweet. Very light mouthfeel, and gassy too. Strange. Light malts, thinnish, minerally, similar to a ginger ale or Sprite. No body. Watery and boring.

bottle at Delirium in Brussels - Pours hazy brown with a thin light tan head. It has a bready malt aroma with some caramel and spice. The flavor is malty and spicy with minimal hops. The latter is surprising given that they’re calling it a pale ale. Maybe they mean something different than we do? It’s medium bodied with light carbonation. It’s fairly good, but there’s nothing particularly impressive in this seasonal brew.

A dark reddish brown ale with a thick qucily recceding light moka head. Bottle was a gusher. Strong roasted caramel aroma, with some burned wood notes. In mouth, a rather malty beer, very Belgian, with not a whole lot of hops, a bit oily, not bad. Medium bodied. Bieropholie import. BB Oct. 2008.

(Bottle, BBE Aug 2008, at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, on 2009-01-14) Amber and hazy. Really large white head. Fruityiness, yeast, some raisin and mustiness in nose. Medium bodied and dryish palate with lot of carbonation. Fruitiness, malts, lightly hops, average biterness, sweetness and some raisin in taste. Quite short and soft aftertaste.

Clear deep amber wth a huge off whte head. Sweet yeasty aroma with toasted malt, caramel and ripe fruits. Flavour was sweet with overripe fruits, caramel and yeast. Finished sweet. Solid belgian.

Bottle from Uto beer, London. BB date 4 months ago. Very dark orange with a light brown head. Smells of sweet malts. Thin body and to high carbonation. Some citrus flavours. The taste disaperes quick with only some bitterness in the after taste. Since this was an old bottle this review is not totalty fair.
