Black, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malts and coffee. Bitter flavour, roasted malts, caramel. Finish coffee.

From cask. Pours hazy brown with a fully gone head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and chocolate, light liqourice note. Toasted malty, bitter and roasted. Dry and lingering dark malty to chocolate finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2014. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty bitter chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate bitter finish.

Sampled @ GBBF. Opaque black color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, roast, earthy maltyness, bitter, earthy bitterness. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Cask - Dark roast, bitter dark chocolate and molasses. Jet black with no head. Dark roast, with a bittersweet finish. Some dark fruit as well. Pretty good.

Cask H/P at The Cambridge Blue, Cambridge, Sunday 8th June 2014 Pours black with a smattering of small bubbles. Its a little roasty, tangy with a little ash and fig. Another nice beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask gravity at Fullerians Rugby club beer fest. Clear caramel colour with a halo of cream head. Aroma is earthy dirt, roast and slight citrus. Flavour is sweet caramel, choc and earthy berry. Lingering roast coffee.

Cask at The Devonshire Cat; dark brown pour with creamy tan head, roasted malt and chocolate aroma, sweet taste quite thin mouthfeel some roasted malts and a hint of coffee.

Cask at the Merchants Inn, Rugby, 30/10/13. Mid black with a good sized tan head. Nose is light roast, mineral notes, earthy, dark fruit tang. Taste comprises light toffee, hint of fruit, light roast, earthy, mineral notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish. So so stout.
