13/9/2024. Can from Rasputin’s, Ipswich. Pours clear deep red/brown with a small off-white to beige head. Aroma is toffee, bready, berries, dried fruits, malt, prunes. Quite sweet with mild roasted bitterness. Medium body, smooth, low carbonation. Quite liked this.

Redish dark amber color with creamy head. Malt, caramel, bread, hop, spices aromas. Light bitterness and sweetness. Average body, bit oily.

Servida en jarra. Color ámbar, algo turbio, espuma beige claro, bien retenida. Olor a malta ligeramente tostada, caramelo, toffee, nueces, flan...ciertamente podríamos hablar de un aroma agradable. En boca es mayormente dulce, maltosa, oleosa, amargor muy suave y casi escondido en el retrogusto, encuentro principalmente notas de caramelo, pudding, malta tostada, nueces, ligero toque de especias, algo de carajillo... No es una mala cerveza, aunque en boca reconozco que puede llegar ser un pelín empalagosa.

Can from Latvian shop in Burton on Trent. Pours a bright copper with a larger, frothy, but temporary cream head and good lacing. There’s a nutty sweetness in the aroma plus some dried fruit. Creamy texture and low carbonation. Extremely sweet in the mouth, like drinking barley sugar sweets. Caramel, plums, raisins and sweet malts. Eventually some general spiciness comes through. Finish is sweet and cloying. Looks good, but the taste is a bit of a mess really.

500ml can, 5.8 % abv, kindly shared by djoeye. Off-white head, lacing rings, mahogany coloured body. Modest caramel aroma. lightly roasted. Dark malty taste, hints of caramel and dried fruits. Prolonged finish, rather sweet. Just alright, without further excitements. (Rating session with djoeye, lmojoh and Finn, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 17.12.2020).
