Very dark brown with thin soapy head. Aroma has some vanilla and lots of new oak. Flavour is super dry with lots of wood. Slightly too thin, too boozy and not flavoursome enough.

44cl can. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, vanilla, coffee and chocolate. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, bourbon.

Black with small tan head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, vanilla, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Jet black with a thin tan head. Aroma of molasses. Flavour is vanilla malt, chocolate and coffee, boozy wood fruit, sweet warm fruit finish.

Can. Black. Chocolate, caramel and vanilla in the aroma. Sweet, full bodied, roast, caramel and vanilla in the flavor. The alcohol of bourbon. Nice.

47,3 cl can @ NISBWG ’20. BBE 11/2022 Aroma has licorice, liquor and sweet malty notes. Flavour has sweet malt, licorice, saltiness and herbal tones. A tad too salty and herbal for my taste.

500 ml can at home. Pours a viscous deep brown to black with a slight brown head that dissipates quickly. Big imperial stout nose of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, some dark fruit notes as well. Quite easy to drink, the flavours are all there but no booziness. Slightly sweet character combines well with the roasted notes.
