440ml can. Pitch black, dark brown head. Aroma of chocolate and cherries. Taste is rich, sweet, Black Forest Gateaux, chocolate, cherries, tonka, vanilla. Thick full bodied, very smooth, well hidden alcohol. Stunning. Yet, as amazing as this is, still can't beat the first one in my opinion.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is cherry, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, berries, liquorice, taste is similar, rich, sweet and fruity.

Can from Park Fever, Hither Green. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is sweet tobacco,butterscotch,liquorice toffee,black cherries,Bounty bar.Taste is black cherries,sweet tobacco,milk chocolate Bounty bar, cappuccino, blackberry jam, more liquorice toffee.Sweet,soothing shoulder caressing warming finish. Fantastic!

Can at home, from CW online, 05/12/20. Pitch black with a big old dirty tan head that stays for a while then dissipates to a swirl and edging. Nose is decadent chocolate, cherry stones, molasses, vanilla, nutty tones, faint coffee, brown sugar melt. Taste comprises liquid Black Forest Gateaux, molasses, chocolate dipped cherries, brown sugars, cherry syrup, toffee fudge, light honeycomb. Full bodied, oily slick feel, fine massaging carbonation semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. This is a world class impy stout ... CW have truly nailed the style with the MCI series ... they just keep getting better and better!
