Our most traditional core beer is inspired by a Manchester stalwart; a fondly-remembered original. Speciality malt gives the deep golden colour and robust base, balanced by crisp bitterness and a floral, lemony aroma.

Malty, hoppy, a bit caramel malt. It is what it is, hehe.

Straight from the can. Expected more malt character other than some caramel and definitely more yeast expression but it’s still pretty decent. Sweet dark sugars, herbal hops, nice bitterness and a pleasant dryness make this chuggable af.

Half cask at Marble Arch. Foggy golden pour, creamy off-white head. Light bready, malty aroma. Taste is bready, biscuity, hint of sweetness. A bit more malty than their Pint bitter, but just a bit.

500 ml can. Cloudy vibrant orange with almost no head. Roasted malt, leather, lemon zest and lemon juice, caramel, toffee, bitter orange, nuts, iron. Hoppy zesty metallic bitterness. Light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonated, hoppy zesty bitter malty finish. Nice Bitter, rather hop-forward, tangy and bitter, good!
