After having so much fun with our numbered #DIPA series, we thought we'd bring the ol' girl home to stay and find a forever home. The mother of all DIPAs, dry hopped to the brim with #Cascade #Citra and #Simcoe perfectly balanced by pilsner malts, wheat and flaked oats.

Can. Unclear orange, two finger off-white head. Curtains. Orange, grapefruit notes, some alcohol and bready malts. Some warmth in the mouth, full body, gentle carbonation. Orange, grapefruit, pine cones, some pale malts and grassy hints. Quite nice this one. 250430

Can from a local supermarket. Piney hop aroma with malt, ripe fruit, orange, pine resin, some ripe stone fruit. Medium bitter with some sweetness. Medium body. Nicely piney with ripe-ish fruit. Very nice.

hazy orange colour, minimal creamy ecru-ish white head; aroma of grapefruit, tropical fruity, orange peel oils, peach, celery and biscuity notes; greatly balanced bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma and some grape-vinous notes; great one!

Tap at Malatesta Alicante. Hazy dark golden. Lots of caramel, toffee, sugary grains, marmalade, peach, oats, apricot jam, cane sugar. Very sweet, medium bitter. Full bodied. Massively sweet, it's not bad but not the kind of DIPA I like.
