After having so much fun with our numbered #DIPA series, we thought we'd bring the ol' girl home to stay and find a forever home. The mother of all DIPAs, dry hopped to the brim with #Cascade #Citra and #Simcoe perfectly balanced by pilsner malts, wheat and flaked oats.

hazy orange colour, minimal creamy ecru-ish white head; aroma of grapefruit, tropical fruity, orange peel oils, peach, celery and biscuity notes; greatly balanced bittersweet taste with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma and some grape-vinous notes; great one!

Tap at Malatesta Alicante. Hazy dark golden. Lots of caramel, toffee, sugary grains, marmalade, peach, oats, apricot jam, cane sugar. Very sweet, medium bitter. Full bodied. Massively sweet, it's not bad but not the kind of DIPA I like.

Medium, off-white head over orangey-copper beer, slightly veiled. Caramel, sugared orangepeel, orange marmalade. Sweet, preserved orangepeel, caramel, speculaasherbs, and retronasal some serious hopflavours with -bitterness, despite the persisting syrupiness. Well-carbonated, thick & viscous. A tad too much to the syrupy/liqueurish side, IMHO. Txs to Stef!

Can at home. Hazy yellow to light orange color, white head. Smell and taste malts, floral a bit, a bit herbal / spicy oddly enough and I miss a decent bitterness. Drinkable but nothing special imo.
