Old rating from 07-05-16 - Pours a very dark hazy brown colour with a beige head. Aromas of roasted caramel malt. Tastes of roasted caramel malt with hints of toffee, cocoa & nuts leading to a roasted alcoholic caramel malted finish with medium bitterness.

330ml can - Pours a deep dark brown colour with a small foamy tan head. Aroma is malty, caramel and dark fruit with some notes of treacle and hops. A sweetish malty taste, treacle, roasted malts and dark fruit flavours with a robust hoppy bitterness.

Can. Clear dark brown with red undertones and a huge beige head. Aroma of malts, dried fruits and caramel. Taste of roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, toffee, nuts and booze. Moderate but distinct bitterness. Medium carbonation. Balanced and enjoyable even at more than a year old.

Hazy amber pour with a lasting white head. Aromas of malts, honey (as expected), caramel, some dark fruits: tastes of (roasted) grains, honey, malt, some nuts and hops. Very nice...
