Bottle pour at Billie’s, Saturday. The tannins are over the top in this, there’s a hint of smoke too from the wood I suppose and it’s intensely dry too, apart from being funky and slightly citric.

Bit hazy deep purple. Cinnamon, sour cherries, oak, grapes, light tannins, almonds, lemon, sour berries. Over medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied.

750ml bottle pours out purple red color topped with a pink head. Nose is nice big cherry grape notes great tartness some barrel funk. Taste is more of the nice sweet cherry grape combo wow sweet and tart funk.

Small pinkish rim over deep purple beer. Deep vinous nose with dark berries, old oakwood, pepper, beeswax. Very vinous flavours with a lot of lactic acid, and no doubt quite some bretts. Red wine, fruitwine. Lipsmacking acidity, certain slickness for such a beer - grapeseed oil? Very good, if not a patch on the Hannibal Lecter.

Drucken på Brewskival 2024. 2021 vintage från flaska. Vinfärgad, fin vinös doft med druvor, körsbär och mycket mustig rödvinskaraktär. Rejält syrlig, lätt acetisk, körsbär, druvskal, kärnor, mandel, tanniner. Kärv men elegant och mycket gott.
