Užavas tumšais alus pārstāv klasiskās dzīvā alus darīšanas tradīcijas. Tā nemainīgi augstvērtīgā kvalitāte tiek panākta, izmantojot dabā sastopamās izejvielas – ūdeni, iesalu, apiņus, raugu.
Užavas tumšajam alum raksturīga īpaša iesala garša, kuru papildina tīkams apiņu rūgtums un aromāts. Lielisku vizuālo efektu sniedz piesātinātā alus krāsa, kas izpaužas saulrietā dzirkstījoša sarkanīga dzintara toņos.
Užavas tumšais alus - alkohola saturs 4,9%, nesatur konservantus, netiek filtrēts un pasterizēts. Fasējums-nerūsējošā tērauda mucās un 0,5 l stikla pudelēs.

500ml Bottle - Amber/red in colour with a lively head. Fairly fruity aroma with some sweetness and malt. Fairly sweet and malty taste with some fruity elements. It tastes rather thin at first but seems to have more body after a few sips. There is a bit of bitterness in the finish but mostly sweetness dominates this beer. Not bad.

Bottled. Nut brown, creamy head. Aroma of butterscotch and toffee. Medium sweet and medium bodied. Mild and soft with lightly cellary buttery malt. Rather rich with notes of grass. Really good! Quite possibly the best Latvian beer I’ve had.

Clear ruby brown with steady brown head. Aroma has lots of caramel and diacetyl. Oily palate, very uninteresting and plain. Dry aftertaste.

Copper brown w/ creamy head. Aroma is of earthy, caramelly malts and a hint of toast, then diacetyl. Soft, sweet caramel notes are the main feature. Simple, but decent.
