Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee, raisins, brown sugar, dark fruity notes, spices, clove. Flavour is sweet, a bit cloying. Body is medium. Decent aroma, but a bit too sweet for my taste.

Bottled (from De Bietonne). Brown colour with a mediumsized white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel, some toasted and mild ashy notes with a wee bit of burnt wood. Flavour is floral, some toasted and mild ashy elements with quite strong sweet dried fruity elements in the finish.

Bottle, @ home, as Berghoeve Windbuul. Brown color. Caramelly aroma. Malty sweet, caramelly flavor with nutmeg. Hints of roast. Medium to full bodied, well rounded and well matured. Satisfying, but not adventurous.

Bottle at home. Hazy orange reddish brown with big fizzy beige head. Apricot, red apple, caramel, brown bread, light yeast, light rye bread, soft mineral notes. It’s quite fruity and malty, in a nice matching way. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and slight watery feel. Not bad.
