10 November 2023. At Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Thanks to tderoeck for sharing today's beers - cheers to so many more!
Clear ochre. Wheat, lime, lemon peel, green apple. Sour lime, sweetish plum, lemon acid. Tart lime, some bread retronasally. Hidden alcohol. Average carbonation. Balanced, enjoyable apéritif.

Small rim, left over faintly greenish yellow-orange beer. Sour, sour green grapes, green leaves and sweet grains. Sweet, not at all sour in the mouth. Even a bit spicy bitterness, toasted nuts. Not very carbonated, quite slick, at least medium bodied. Nice beer, impressive presentation from Champagne-type bottle, but (too) sweet for Berliner, really. Not to mention ABV...

10/XI/23 - 75cl bottle @ Billies Craft Beer Festival (Antwerp), Day 1 - part 1, BB: n/a, 2023 vintage, bottle # 0250 (2023-911) Thanks to NathanVC for sharing today’s beers!
Cloudy orange blond beer, creamy off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, passion fruits, lactic acidity, a little dirty, lemony, floral, ok. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, a little fruity, funky, sweet, a bit of tannins, some dried fruits, raisins, a little oxidized, hint of maple syrup. Aftertaste: sourish, some tannins, a little bitter, some grape skins, sourish, spicy, a little herbal, green cardamom, bitter finish.

0.75 l bottle from 'Rudat', 2020 vintage, best before end of 2025. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, quickly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, a little sourish, gently fruity aroma of honey, lemon, rhubarb, pear and apple. Gently sweet, slightly sour, quite malty, moderately fruity taste of honey, caramel, apple, lemon and rhubarb, followed by a medium long, gently tart, slightly boozy, moderately dry finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and a bit oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very interesting, much sweeter than expected, still with a balancing acidity. Actually way more pleasant than a low abv Berliner Weisse, rather dangerous regarding the abv.

750ml bottle. Slightly milky, orangey, golden colour with small to average, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, finally fading, white head. Lactic, tangy and slightly vinous, fruity aroma, notes of sauerkraut, Riesling grapes, a touch of orange peel, silicic acid, grape sugar. Taste is mildly tart, lactic and vinous fruity, sweet-ish wheaty malty, notes of sauerkraut, Riesling grapes, some grape sugar, silicic acid, vinous fruity hints of melon, honeydew melon, lychee, pear, gooseberry, mandarine, orange peel, whiffs of strawberry. Oily-watery texture, smooth, soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Wow! This is really a plethora of fruitiness: rich, manifold, evolving and oscillating, intense but not overdone, definitely grape sugar supported but so what - very, very tasty!

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fresh malty fruity aroma. Starts with sweetish grainy notes, mild bitter background. More and more mild sourish notes, some hints of apple, some mild apricot. Well balanced finish. Interesting!

Fruity nose. The beer starts nice sour. Fruity parts, very winey with not too much intense sourness. A bit like an apple fruit beer. Sweetish grain in the back. moderate fruity sourness. Very easy to drink, sour-fruity in the back, interesting.
