Draft pours deep black with thin tan head that quickly reduces to lace. A watery mouthfeel and an aroma of chocolate give the first impressions, but a surprising sour profile dominates pushing the mild chocolate flavors to the background.

Taster from tap at the brewpub. As Chocolate Stout. Black color, small tan head. Smells fudgy, earthy, cocoa, nutty, hazelnut. Very nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes earthy, some currant notes, berries, bit peppery, hints of sourness, licorice.finishes dry and lightly roasty with notes of berry notes, Licorice and some earthy notes. Nice one, just a tad too sour for me, still a good one, but might be on the brick of turning 8,4, 7, 3,14
