Can on 7th February 2025 from Morrison’s in Holloway. Impenetrably black with a collapsing, tan foam and partial lacing. Rich and intense aroma of toffees, dark chocolates and coffees. An Oh-YEAHHH burst of rich nutty dark chocolate, burnt treacle and coffee in-mouth that echoes in a finish that invites further sips. Bitter chocolates and peppery notes join this finish. Engaging mouthfeel and a full body. Dangerously moreish.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, sweet, lots and lots of caramel, some gingerbread, lots of chocolate, vanilla, crème brûlée, nice stuff! MF: ok carbon, medium to almost full body. Taste: good roast, lots of caramel, vanilla, all crème brûlée… Aftertaste: soft roast, chocolate, coffee, sweet touch, lactose maybe, more caramel, vanilla, very nice!

440ml can, a gift from Steph; drank at home on 11th January 2025. Black bodied, tanned topping. Very sweet from start to finish, silky and smooth body, caramel/toffee and chocolate ooze out of the brew, had it for my late night cap.

Can 440ml (Alko web) Opaque colour, small brownish colour. Sweet chocolate and vanilla in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Flavour is similar: chocolate, vanilla, marshmallows - lactose flavour. Meh candy bomb.

Bottle shared at Octo Brewery. Lots of toffee, caramel, nutty. Moderate lactoseish silkiness. Full body, med-light carbonation. Lots of maltiness to go around, also moderate cocoa. Easy drinking while having rich character.

44 cl can @ home, 11/2024 Aroma has really sweet artifical-ish chocolate tones and cocoa. Also mild licorice. Flavour has sweet artifical chocolate, ash, hayish grain. Oversweet and has quite a feeling of artifical essences. But I still kinda like this.
