330ml bottle from the Farmers Bar, Puchong, Malaysia. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, big cinnamon. The flavour is liqourice bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, cinnamon, raisin, blueberry, light sweet caramel, light floral hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from All Good Beer. Pours deep brown with a frothy, beige head. Light to medium sweet with decent roast, a little ash, cinnamon, cocoa, raisins, earth. Medium bodied, slightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with more roast, toasted cinnamon buns, baking cocoa. Tasty stuff.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met weinig tot geen schuim. Het heeft een zoete kaneel geur, echt spot on! De smaak is gebrande mout, zoetig, caramel en kaneel.

Pours dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is strong Tonka, cinnamon, dark malts, some roast and coffee. Hint of hop and berries. Medium body. Flavour is malty, lots of dark malts but limited amount of roast, nice, lots of chocolate malt. Some berry notes again, some earthy notes. Lots of cinnamon and some Tonka, but that was stronger in aroma. Finish is light and spicy cinnamon. Nice, a good porter, finish could be a bit more robust.

Bottle. It pours a brown body, lightly hazy, with a dark beige head. Biscuits, cinnamon, dark chocolate and a good dash of tonka in the aroma. Sort of dishwashing soapy. It's full bodied and lightly warming, smooth and with a pleasant blend of sweetness and bitterness. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon and vanilla. And of course tonka. Lasting finish. Quite delicious, especially if you like tonka. 210312

A 330ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Bubbly, fawn-coloured head, fair lacing, almost black in the glass. Moderate spiced dark malts on the nose. Chocolate malts to the taste profile partially overrun by cinnamon spices. Spiced malty ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying to a certain degree. (Nerstranda, Tromsø 05.03.2021).

Bottle from Pivný raj Quite pleasant surprise that the cinnamon doesn't override everything. Good

Relatively light porter for pohjala. Drier than most-assisted by the spice, but still a round robust body. The cinnamon is nicely balanced and fits in with the base beer well. Beery Xmas 2020
