330ml bottle at home from Cotteridge wines. Clear dark caramel pour with a reluctant loose cream head. Aroma is sweet milk choc, caramel, earthy roast and wood. Some sweet berries in the nose. Favour is pine hop light lemon , choc and some roast. Solid earthy pine bitterness in the vack end. Palate is light and with moderate carbonation. Lingering back of the throat bitterness. Not enough malt

Bottle: Nose is smoke, orange, blackberry and cherry with a hint of cocoa and vanilla. The fruit smells make it very fresh smelling for a porter. Taste is biscuit, malt leading to smoke and a juicy citrusy, grapefruit, pineapple hopped finish with a little lasting resin which makes it refreshing for a porter. Mouthfeel is slick. It’s decent but too much IPA for a porter.

Bouteille(@Kris Wines, British Empire):Deep mahagony coloured, stable medium-sized tanned head, chocolatey, caramelly, fruity, ashy and toasty aromas in the mainly dry bitter nose; solid dry bitter flavour, supported by a little sweetness, light to medium bodied and pretty soft; lingering dry ashy and fruity finish. Very pleasant, yeah…

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Dark brown body with. Thin off-white head. Light lacing. Aroma of ash, Twiglets and dark chocolate. Bitter flavour - cocoa powder, peppery spice and pine. Medium body with a slick, oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. A rather nice ashy, spicy Porter.

Dark brown color, good beige head. Aroma has American citrus-fruity hops, underlying caramel and roast. Light bodied. Front has some crystal malts then American hops: citrus, fruits, pineapple. Tickling bitterness mixes with late coffee and chocolate flavors. Nice and rich although light. I think this is more like a black ipa than "porter".

A colablack beer with an almost medium and beige head. The nose is roasted and liquirice, some salt, also grapefruits and citrusfruits. Taste is strongly roasted, coffee, quite dry, medium bitterness and grapefruity sourness. The end is quite dry, strongly roasted and almost burned. Medium- bodied, low carbonation, easy to drink. Nice Porter with "US style" that is noticed as grapefruity, giving freshness to otherwise, quite dry and roasted feeling.
