Light Speed is a super session hazy IPA coming in at 4% ABV and only 95 calories. This beer packs a hoppy punch and depth of flavour that belies its modest stature. Packed with new wave hops from the Pacific north west of America this pocket rocket of a beer hits you hard with a fruity, citrussy and piney onslaught.

Very hazy blond with a big white head. Aroma of massive melon, the most insane melon character Iβve ever smelt on a beer, lychee and tropical fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation. The intensified melon is a little too much. At first sniff itβs amazing, but it becomes almost sickly fairly quickly.

Can at home, from BD online, 16/01/21. Hazed light golden yellow with a decent just off white covering. Nose is passionfruit, lychee, floral notes, grass, juicy citric burst, tropical fruit punch. Taste comprises grass, more passionfruit notes, lemon curd, tinned pineapple, lime leaf, mixed tropicana, light Um Bongo rip, perfumed tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough easy drinking sessioner.

Cloudy yellow beer, thick white head. Zesty, tropical fruit aroma. Flavour has peach, zesty citrus, I think there's a little coconut in there as well or something not dissimilar. Very crisp and fresh. I'll give it credit for having a good amount of flavour at this strength. It's not desperately exciting but you could quite happily work your way through a few of these sitting in the sun.

Foamy white head stayed on a hazy vivid gold body. Zesty aroma with sweet citrus & herb (?). Medium bodied, to got with a light clean back. Bitter/Sweet citrus, herbal, herb (basil?) & lemon tastes with a pithy finish.

Crowler from BD Inverurie. It pours hazy golden with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet and juicy, perfumed, big passion fruit character, peach ice tea, persimmon and bubblegum. The taste is firmly dry, touch of bitterness, bright peachy vibes, apricot, persimmon, pithy citrus, tangerine, touch of greenness, pine and light peppery spice with a drying finish. Lighter end of medium body and moderate carbonation. Very pleasant stuff. Fruity and chuggable.
