Bottle. Everything is in perfect balance. Sweet caramel malts in the background. A crisp and exotic hop-profile. With a not too strong grapefruit bitterness in the end. Nothing special... just great!

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, amber liquid with thick, off-white medium head. Aroma is hoppy with notes of grapefruit, gooseberries, caramel, floral hops, citrus and maybe a tiny bit biscuity malt. Nice blend of American and NZ hops. Flavour is dry, not very sweet and medium to highly bitter. Feels balanced. Some rye (I think) comes through and gives a toasty/biscuity taste. Some alcohol as well, but quite well hidden. Medium bodied with very nice carbonation and long lingering finish. Quite refreshing but maybe a bit too heavy to be a really good summer beer. The ABV is clearly noticed and that makes it inappropriate to drink as a thirst quencher. Will probably go well with some nice grilled meat later this summer.

Bottled. Almost clear amber, fair sized head. Tangerine and grapefruit in the nose turns into sweet rye bread. Solid, well sized body with clean rounded mouthfeel. Some molasses and biscuits, more tangerines in a piney really bitter finish. A big, bold IPA, perhaps for a rainy summer day?.

Bottled:
Pale amber colour, frothy head. Aroma is marshmallows, wine gums, goose berries, pine apple, lychees. Flavour is pine, wood and fruity, bitter hops. Pretty good IPA, but there’s plenty of similar IPA’s out there...........
