This creamy dark stout, deep chocolate in colour has a nose of roast malts, coffee, liquorice & orange peel. Bottle. Black body with a beige head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of coffee, burnt toast and raisins. Flavour of roasted malt, coffee and biscuity malt. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. A smooth, biscuity stout.

[as Williams Brothers March of the Penguins, 2020] Bottiglia. Il naso vira verso caffè e cioccolato. La finezza olfattiva è normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma cremosa e che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, cioccolato, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, pane tostato ed erbaceo.

Bottle from Lidl. Pours black with small beige to tanned head, nice lasting top with lacing. Aroma and taste is rich with roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate but has a light blackcurrant note Medium bodied, fairly full for the strength, creamy, soft carbonation. Very nice indeed.

Handpump @Treefolk's (Rome). Bruna, intensa, schiuma avorio leggera. Al naso note di malti tostati, caffè, cioccolato fondente, biscotto, erbaceo. In bocca è bilanciata, con attacco dolce e chiusura amara, bellissimo gioco di malti. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione soft. Splendida.
