Draught @ 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Basquery / De Molen Black & Molen ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, wood, wet wood, roasted - chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, wood, anis seed (spicy), chocolate - roasted - coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Borefts X. I'm ten for ten! Day 2. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft sweetish dark malts. Mellow chocolate cake, sweetish. Smooth and slightly spicy finish. Decent but overshadowed by other great stouts at this fest.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival, Day 1. Black color, average sized beige to light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, roasted malts moderately to decently in there, some liquorice, dark malt bitter, bitter. Not many special things to tell imo. Solid enough stout though.
