Bottled 330ml. -Pale amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, dusty malty nose. Sweet malty, alcoholic and light spicy with nutty and fruity notes. Touch of metal in the finish. Uninteresting.

Bottle. Amber coloured, big white head. Sweet aroma, bit nutty, some banana and coconut. Rather sweet, but also some sourness, a bit fruity. A bit like a sweet tripel.

330ml bottle. Brown murky color with tons of particulates floating throughout. Nice large head and lively but smooth mouthfeel. The aroma is pretty rugged, with an in-your-face sweet alcohol laced smell. The taste is a little devolved, despite being more than a year from expiration. Mellows considerably throughout the glass. Mild sweet nutty flavor with a nice fruity yeast taste. An exotic treat.

Bottle. Sweet buttery aroma with hop. Hint of sour. Hazy ripe apricot flesh color with a white head that didn’t stand long. Thin to medium bodied with mild, creamy carbonation. Sweet, nutty caramel flavor with a hint of bitter. Finishes in a caramel flavored bitterness. Pretty interesting beer. Could do this every so often.

Bottle. Except for some big floaties, it pours clear, deep golden body with an off-white head. A bit boring aroma, with sugar, some spices and something reminiscent of black tea. Some fruityness. Sweet, fruity flavor with a strange bitter, herbal or spicy note. Medium to full and sweet mouthfeel. It finishes quite bitter, but not in a hop-like manner. Certainly the best of the Mongozo beer’s so far, but I doubt I will buy it again. (070917)
