Beer with a characteristic flavour which Polish consumers recognize with their eyes closed. It is characterized by an original flavour which combines malt and hops, beautiful, deep amber colour, and higher alcohol content (6.5%). Strong is so exceptional due to the unique composition of two malts: Pilsner malt, which provides the beery character, and toasted malt, which provides the unique, sweet after-taste and amber colour. Strong is a top-quality beer that for many years has been appreciated and enjoyed by the consumers.

Sampled from 0.5 l can, best before June 2020. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little grassy aroma of grains and a touch of straw. Quite sweet, malty, slightly bitter and a little grassy taste of grains, some honey and traces of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy and a little boozy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not that bad, actually quite drinkable.

Straight from can. Nose: malts, sunflower seeds, a hint of honey. Medium body. Taste: medium sweet, malty, some caramel and halva, low to light bitterness, warming alcohol. Not the worse strong lager.

Und noch ein Bock aus Polen. Der dürfte dort auch recht beliebt sein. Auch dieser ist recht süß, behält sich aber eine Süffigkeit vor. Zu den Rumtopf-Aromen kommt ein bisschen Hopfen. Kein allzu weiter Wurf, aber trinkbar.
