Beer with a characteristic flavour which Polish consumers recognize with their eyes closed. It is characterized by an original flavour which combines malt and hops, beautiful, deep amber colour, and higher alcohol content (6.5%). Strong is so exceptional due to the unique composition of two malts: Pilsner malt, which provides the beery character, and toasted malt, which provides the unique, sweet after-taste and amber colour. Strong is a top-quality beer that for many years has been appreciated and enjoyed by the consumers.

50 cl. can @ home, bought @ Julia Poolse Delicatessen, Geldermalsen. Clear light copper coulour with an off-white head. Caramel aroma with a hint of roasted malts. Sweet taste with a mild bitter finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle at Mieszczańska, thanks Maja R.! Poured an old gold body, clear, with a lasting white head. Caramel aroma, vague chewed up bubblegum, malty all in all with a light herbal touch. MIld neutral sweetish taste, light dark bread. Again, a solid strong macro lager.

50cl can from a local Londis store. Pale golden amber with a billowing cream head; grainy aroma; estery taste and a grainy body, with a fruity alcoholic finish. Nothing subtle or sophisticated about this!

Uit oost europese toko op de voorstreek. Schenkt gouden met witte kraag. Aroma van gras, fruit, caramel, mout, graan. 500 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 10/29/2015. Pours crystal clear golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of honey, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a goods bit. Nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness as well. Very clean on lager flavors with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good strong pale lager. All around good robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and clean to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bouteille. Nez de malt pâle et léger de malt du genre caramel doux (notes de rôti), léger de maïs sucré et d’alcool doux ainsi que des notes de houblon floral et de miel. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort avec une texture très légèrement veloutée. Goût légèrement croustillant de malt pâle avec de très légères notes de légumes bouillis lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un goût moyennement sucré de malt doux (pain et caramel doux avec des notes de rôti) et de maïs sucré avec des notes de miel et herbeuses puis une fin légèrement amère d’alcool doux et de houblon floral ainsi que de très légères notes métalliques. Arrière-goût moyen, légèrement amer d’alcool aux notes métalliques avec des notes de rôti et herbeuses. [notes 2006]

Bottle from Super Lincs, Lincoln. Golden colour with a very thin and quickly evaporating white head. Orn and syrupy aroma and taste. Not as sweet as some.
