This pale, refreshing and aromatic beer has a nice malt profile, together with plenty of hops for flavour and aroma.

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 31.07.15. Cloudy orange. Foamy and persistent off-white head and lacing. Aroma of mango, papaya, other tropical fruits, citrus and pine shoots. Similar taste, balanced with malt and good bitterness of pine and grapefruit. Good!

Orangey colour with thin head. Biscuity, malty aroma and taste. Light hop bitterness. Perhaps some peachy sweetness in the finish.

Pours light amber, loads of foam that becomes thinner quite soon but lingers on quite long. Aroma is really metallic and plastic at first, not really nice.Taste is hoppy, light body, bitter hops. Not too special, works in sauna OK. Becomes nicer once it warms.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. Hazy deep gold. Aroma of stale malt and hops, yeast and overripe fruits. Flavor has a bit of sweetness, graininess, stale malt, stale hops, yeast and some fruitiness. Light to medium-bodied, over-carbonated. Seems too old.

Uklar orange/brun farge med lys beige skum. Lukter humle og svakt grapefrukt. God humlepreg i smak. Bitter avslutning. Medium fylde.

Amber with fluffy off-white head. Fruity with lemon and grapefruit and light apricot. Caramel malt and herbal notes. Light sweet with bitter finish that slowly builds. Medium bodied. Decent ale with good aroma, doesn't feel like 4.5 abv and not really dry. Not really that special though.

Bottle from the Meny at Fosnavag, Norway. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is big citrus hop, pine needle. The flavour is medium bitter with a zesty citrus, light floral hop bitter, light pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Like no other pale ale i’ve tasted, but it totally agrees with me!

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, biscuit, straw, hops. Quite bitter flavour, hops, straw, biscuit, spicy pepper. Spicy finish, light pepper, straw and biscuity malts. Nice and well balanced brew.
