Classic lager with a distinctive aroma and an excellent, deep flavour, highly recognized by the beer lovers who prefer traditional, manly beer. It works wonders after a long day of work.

16-08-16 / 500ml bottle. Malty water. From the bottle and a bit too warm, but a chilled beer wouldnt save the rating. Its just not good. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tatra on 16 Aug 2016 at 22:02 - Score: 2

Can from the Polish shop on my road, that I am so glad opened! Clear gold. Film of white head. Rubbery malts. Some grass. Bit of nail polish. Taste is toffee sweet. Some hop bitterness. Decent enough mouthfeel. Not too skanky. Well, a bit skanky. Some grassy bitterness at the end. The sort of beer that needs chilling down so much you can barely taste it.

Pours darkish gold from the bottle and leaves a porous head that fairly rapidly dissipates. Aroma has traces of compost and of alcohol, and leaves a somewhat stale and uninviting impression. Taste is a mix of sweet and sour, with both watery and alcoholic notes. Finish leaves virtually no impression whatsoever. Just a mild stale bitterness that makes you think the hops were well beyond their use by date. This feels like a mistake.

Barwa złota, klarowne, biała piana, niezbyt obfita, opada szybko. W aromacie słodowość, lekki mokry karton, estry, nuty winne. W smaku słodowe, nieco słodkawo-alkoholowe. Goryczka niska, wysycenie średnie, pijalność nienajlepsza, treściwość maksymalnie średnia. Typowy koncerniak, z gatunku tych nieco gorszych.

Bottle as a gift from my brother. Clear blond colour, white foam. Light sweet malts, light bitter finish. Easy drinkable, no real off flavours but rather dull.

German label ’Bier’. Clear golden colour, minimal white head, some lacing. Aroma hay, wee bit honey, corn, grass, metallic. Taste sweet and bitter, hint of lemon. Medium body, oily feel, lively carbonation all the way, crisp and smooth bitter finish, crisp beer.
