Half pint on cask at Sparrow Bier Café. Next to clear, almost black coloured body. Spotty lacing from a fading beige tophead. Brown malty nose, mid-sweet. Dark malty taste, hints of bread, earth, and caramel. Mid-sweet malty finish, slightly roasted. Drinks well (Bradford 08.07.2015).

500ml bottle
Pours dark brown, almost black with a bubbly white head. Aroma of roasted malts, some sweet cooca and syrup notes and hints of chocolate. Taste is smooth, sweet and chocolatey with hints of roastiness and syrup. Finish is a bit messy with hints of cocoa and roastiness. Unbalanced, not very good.
