clear deep red, no head.
raspberries, raspberry jam, bitter honey in the aroma.
flavor is honey, bitter honey, fruit stone, almost earthy, gunpowder, herbal notes. not one of the best meads i've had, flavor seems to be all over the place, from campfire roasted bread on a stick to raspberry jam.
clearly complex and you'll probably like it more after having handled the initial confusion.

Small sample at Billies because there's no way I'm going to stand in such a line to get a glass for myself. Super sweet and thick raspberry mead. Crazy but nice but only for a sip, which is exactlky what I got so I can't complain.
