South Germany inspired light and refreshing blonde Helles beer.

Tap at La Linterna Ciega, Sevilla, Spain. Pours pale gold, brilliant and transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is of cereal, grainy, bready. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderately bitter, with just a bit of malty sweetness behind. Final is average, a little sweet in the end.

330ml can from Beer52. Mostly clear light gold with small white head, modest retention. Aroma is doughy with some herbal and light citrus. Taste is quite bready with sweet cereal malt notes with some herb and grassiness in the finish. Medium bodied, mid to fine carbonation. Somewhat more bitter than your average helles.

200ml draught, 4.8 % abv, at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Basqueland Brewing TTO. Upper part lacing in the glass, filmy layer, clear late straw coloured body. Moderate grass-grainy aromas. Fine balanced taste of grassy hops, craft malts, and a distant citric bite. Dry finish with subdued bitterness. Clean on the swallow. Well made version of the style. (Tromsø, 17.09.2024).

6/VIII/24 - 44cl can, shared @ ElManana’s place, BB: VI/2025, lot: 241915 (2024-694) Thanks to ElManana for sharing the can!

Clear pale light gold beer, creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, non adhesive, falls down pretty quickly. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, a little sourish impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, grains, hoppy, a bit malty, some citrus, grassy touch. Aftertaste: good bitterness, malty touch, very refreshing, hoppy, grassy finish, nice stuff, thist quenching, little sweet, fruity.
