Bottled. Translucent gold pour with a small-ish white head that lasts for a while. The aroma is strong and distinct with grapefruit and and melons. The taste is grapefruit, pine, some other mixed tropical fruits and a bit of breadiness. Bitterness is medium i'd say (for an IPA) and is very pine-like--sort of like a west coast IPA. The palate is full and crisp with lively carbonation. Finishes short and dry. Overall: Decent enough IPA. I have not had much of GI's products since they sold out to AB, but I'm glad to see they still make a passable product. Paired supremely well with some smoked goat cheese. As an afterthought I question why this is classified as an English IPA.
