A hazai fejlesztésű, 2003-ban bevezetett Borsodi Bivaly 6,5%-os alkoholtartalmával a mezőny legerősebb indulója. A Borsodi Sörhöz képest testesebb ízű és kissé sötétebb színű Bivaly íze és ereje tökéletes harmóniát alkot.

Pontosan ezért szeretik ezt a markáns sört a hazai piacon, akik ragaszkodnak a megszokott magas színvonalhoz.

pale golden colour; significant, though quickly collapsing white head; aroma of malt with fruity notes; taste is dominated by malt with some minimal hoppy bitterness and sourish background; quite simple lager; the high(er) ABV alone was not enough to turn borsodi lager a good beer.
