Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of citrus, orange zest, pine, herbal and floral notes. Taste is grainy and a bit watery. Bitter finish.

On cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma is malty with a tangerine citrus tang. Clear gold. Thin foamy translucent white head offers sparse coverage. Medium bitter. A touch of quinine. But the primary feature is sour edged sweet marmalade. Light-medium bodied. Flat with soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. So this is currently on here as an ESB but now branded as a dry hopped Pale Ale. I guess it is a cross between a stronger trad beer and a more modern Pale. Maybe I am just happy to be out of a lunchtime beer but really hits the spot.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A pale amber pour with a grainy aroma; creamy in the mouth with a smooth grainy body, some citrus and a spicy bitterness with a lingeing finish. Pretty good.
