A classic pale ale, brewed from British pale malt and US Cascade hops. Smooth, fruity and full- bodied, with a deceptive bitterness to complement its alcohol strength. Refreshing citrus hop aromas complete the sensory pleasure.

On cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma is malty with a tangerine citrus tang. Clear gold. Thin foamy translucent white head offers sparse coverage. Medium bitter. A touch of quinine. But the primary feature is sour edged sweet marmalade. Light-medium bodied. Flat with soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. So this is currently on here as an ESB but now branded as a dry hopped Pale Ale. I guess it is a cross between a stronger trad beer and a more modern Pale. Maybe I am just happy to be out of a lunchtime beer but really hits the spot.
