Flaska från Fremont. Murken brunfärgad med lite beige krona. Melass, kolaremmar, russin, katrinplommon, likörpralin, sherry, rom, romrussin, Bourbon, nästan lite marsipan. Stor, kladdig kropp. Mycket fat och hetta, men sötman står ändå pall och tar huvudplatsen. Mycket gott om än kanske lite, lite väl söt.

Dark brown pour with a beige head. Bourbon, toffee, vanilla, burnt caramel, dried fruit, whiskey, sugar. Quite sweet and sugary, making it hard to drink and not too enjoyable, for what I was expecting.

Thanks Sam for sharing! Taster showing brown with no head. The nose shows pronounced sweet floral notes of raisin, toffee, fig, and caramel. The palate is still with thick bodied. Balanced sweetness with flavors of raisin, fig, molasses, and vanilla throughout with a very mild alcohol sweetness.

Wax dipped bomber. A little over four months old. Aroma is sherry, bourbon, molasses, vanilla, coconut, licorice. Pours a very dark brown with a one finger beige head with great retention. Taste is highly sweet, with a lightly tart and faintly bitter edge. Nice velvety mouthfeel. It's a good beer, but not among the best barleywines I've had. It's a little too sweet and I don't care for the tartness. Maybe a little more time in the cellar is called for.

Been forever since I had Fremont bil, newest batch is dangerously smooth.
20240114, still delicious, aged prune juice and vanilla barrels. New Romeo's photo.
