2 February 2025. Bottle from Deconinck (presumably).
Guessing this is 5yrs old? Cloudy black, thin, frothy, beige head. Aroma of black olive, teriyaki, old fondant, liquorice, beef jerky, cold coffee, charred wood. Taste has sweetish brambleberry, bitter coffee & toast, quite a lot of umami soy & black olive, some herbal notes too. Soft herbal & peppery hops, immediately drowned again by coffee, umami olive and fondant maltiness and a dash of warming vodka-like alcohol. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. All the characteristics of an aged Stout, quite enjoyable.

Bottle from Bierbazaar. Pitch black colour, brown foam. Nose of raosted malts, coffee, some fruityness, vanilla. Some very light tartness. Medium carbonation. Well balanced, nice stout.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige to brown head, stable, non adhesive. Taste: dry, bitter hops, roasted, coffee, lots of dark chocolate. Aftertaste: nice roast, bitter, dry, hoppy, cocoa powder.
