Spotty beige head on a near black body. Coffee, malt & roasted aroma. Medium bodied, smooth over the tongue with a sharp clean back. Coffee, blackberry, malt & citrussy tastes with a long tangy finish. Nice.

Can. 10 months beyond it’s BBD. Proper fridge dweller. Clear dark brown. Fine pale tan head. Nose has well roasted coffee bean. Very ashy and earthy. Some dark chocolate. Taste is dry and earthy. Modicum of milky sweetness. Dry on the palate with fine carbonation. Earthy bitter finish.

Black beer, good off white head. Smell is all rich coffee. Flavour is too, with a good malty base to it and a light toastiness. A few simple flavours but balanced really well and with a nice body, this is very good and at this strength very drinkable.
