Bottled 650ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, small to medium sized brownish head, chocolate and discreet raspberry nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, light tartish raspberries, mild coffee and some wood with sweetish finish. Vintage 2020 11.6%ABV

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma has jammy red fruits and malty sweetness. Roasted malt bitterness. Sweet and full of raspberries. Sweeter milk chocolate elements are subtle and stay in the background.

Bomber from the Utah State Liquor Store in Cedar City, Release #2, 11.6% ABV. Nose is very heavy raspberries, astringency, dark chocolate, and just a hint of vanilla. Black with a medium, heavy lacing, cinnamon tan head. Flavor is semisweet chocolate, tart raspberries, and a little sweetness. Not as good as I hoped.

Black with a small foamy brown head that left decent lacing. Sweet raspberry jam, chocolate, and toasty malt. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

650ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige to tan head. Fruity, raspberry aroma with pulpy, fruit acidic and earthy aspects, widely disguised, chocolately, dark malty background, late whiffs of coffee. Taste is surprisingly fresh, fruity, notes of raspberry with pulpy and fruit acidic aspects, a touch of lemon and citric acid, slightly roasty and chocolately, dark malty basis, some roasty and hoppy bitterness; well hidden alcohol. Lingering finish with a slow fade out of raspberry flavours, increase of roasty, chocolately malty flavours, some coffee comes in, finally the alcohol becomes noticeable. Surprisingly watery texture (or fruit acid thinned, slightly creamy texture), dry, minimally astringent, simultaneously smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, very fine, creamy, in combination with fruit acidic aspects quite efficacious carbonation. Surprisingly light and easy drinkable, raspberry dominated, relatively reserved malty basis lacks self-reliance; not that good as Impy Stout but I like raspberry a lot - quite OK.

Very black ruby-brown pour with a tall tan head that is slow to rise to the surface. Huge raspberry notes up front, with additional raspberry chocolate, cocoa nibs, coffee, whiskey, oak, a bit of vanilla. Unusual mix of ingredients, but pretty good result.

Release #1. SLC 6756.
Pours black with a long lasting head of tan foam. Lacing is good.
Smells of raspberries, authentic raspberries, chocolate, vanilla, whiskey, not getting any coffee.
Taste is tart raspberries, sweet chocolate, whiskey barrel, vanilla. Minimal coffee and that's okay with me; it lets the other flavours shine.
Medium close to full bodied.
Any hit from Epic.

Draft 13 oz pour to a tulip, enjoyed at Hop and Hound. What an incredible brew this is. Its got a little bit of everything. Rich chocolate, subtle raspberry that balances well, smooth, slightly petty whiskey on the late finish. Thick, datl brown pour with what appears to be a slight raspberry color influence added. Nice roast, slight coffee, dark chocolate taste up front, with an aroma that matches. Chocolate first, raspberry follows, whiskey finish. Really nice, balanced, layered brew here. Love the series, love the beer. Excellent addition here.
