Bottle, bought at the brewery. Blonde with a touch of pink, hazy. Orange and grape sugar in both aroma and flavor. Mango. Witbier character, or, more precise: looks a bit like the Kluis Peeterman I’ve had in the ’80’s. Goudsch Grachten Witbier. Blonde, slightly hazy. Herbal hops and a hint of ginger in the aroma and flavor. Just a hint of fruity sweetness. A bit too herbal for a Belgian wit IMO. (6 3 6 2 12 = 2.9, tasted 05.11.06) Are these beers really the same???

Hazy gold beer. Very lively bubbly white head. Light crisp palate, turning frothy. Sweet cream tripel like malt. Soft orange, floral. Whispers of peach and banana. Effervescent finish. By far the best De Molen beer under 5%. Very drinkable.

Bottle. A gusher, producing an unclear, yellow to golden body topped by a diminishing, big, rocky head. Citrusy nose with some alcohol and lots of white sugar. White sugar, flowers, some citrus and a touch of bitterness in the flavor, the bitterness growing stronger towards the end. A bit heavy on the carbonation, medium body. Not a very succesful beer, but far from all bad. 110401
