Slight hoparoma. Bit of bitterness in the taste, also some sweetness. Skunky.

16/VIII/17 - 30cl bottle from a Dutch supermarket @ Taste and Waste session 1 (home) - BB: 18/XI/17 (2017-1242)

Clear blond beer, big irregular fluffy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, grains, bit of citrus, urinals, pretty dirty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, nice bitterness, pretty sweet, sugary, grains, some caramel. Aftertaste: some overripe banana, grains, malty, not very bitter alas, bit fruity, too sweet and boring.

Sampled from 0.33 l can from ’AH’ (Groesbeek), best before November 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of straw, grains and slightest hints of citrus. Sweetish, slightly bitter, a little grassy-spicy taste of straw, grains and traces of citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Clean, forgettable beer.

From the bottle. The aroma contains malts, grain and hay. It tastes medium sweet and light bitter. A bit dry. Watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Good enough for a Pilsener.
