500ml bottle. Amber golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, toffee, and floral orange citrus hop. Taste is sweetish, malt caramel, earthy, with tangy zesty citrus and fruity hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry dusty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 23 Nov 2016) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, orange peel and a touch of caramel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, crisp-bread, orange peel, hints of cinnamon and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Clear gold. Film of sticky white head. Buttery malts. Some pineapple. Some resin. Taste is light bitter. Hint of sweet. Soft, easy drinking palate. Nice hop burps. Finishes light bitter, and more of the buttery sweetness. Not bothered with the buttery thing, but pretty drinkable, nonetheless.
