Cask (gravity) at Old Dolphin, Derby Pours a cloudy golden yellow with minimal head. (NB it’s NOT “extra pale”). Has an aroma of marmalade, berries and some straw. Marmalade again in the mouth, with some peppery hops and slightly sweet. Finish, however is a horrible bitter lemon which lets it down completely.

8th Feb 2019; hand-pulled cask pint at the Codsall Railways Buildings. Light golden body, fluffy white crown. Mild citrus leanings from the hops, a tad sweetness from the malts, not too exciting or different, but it did quench my thirst.
