Cask at the moon under water Watford JDW. Aroma is big solventy, hot alcohol, apple. Perhaps some cleaning products. Flavour is sweet brown sugar, apple and berries, some oxidation. Medium sweet sugary palate is decent fine carbonation. Too much alcohol presence.

Cask, half pint served in a mug at The Queens Head. Just one patch at the surface of a clear amber coloured body. Malt-fruity aroma with wet leaves. Marmalade taste with dried fruits, bread and caramel. Plain bittersweet finish. Quite pleasing to drink (London, 23.11.2012).
