Für die Wintermonate gebraut: Intensiver, ausgewogener Charakter mit weichen Karamellnoten, reifen Beerenaromen und leichter Malzsüße - perfekt für die kalten Winterwochen.

Clear deep golden wit a large off white head. Aroma was somewhat sweet and had roasted malt and hints of caramel notes. Flavour was sweet with caramel, roasted malt, grassy hops and toffee notes. Finished light bitter from the grassy hops.

While shopping today I stumbled across this year’s first winter beer. It is the 8th of October, we have 22°C outside and the sun is shining - Good heavens, is it already winter? Anyway, the beer looks god, dark brown colour with a mlarge and creamy beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty with lots of flavours going on: roasted malt, caramel and dried fruit. Balanced of with a decent amount of aromatic and bitter hops. Much better than expected, I actually liked this, although it is too early in the year. Hopefully there won’t be any Easter specials in December...

Bottle Swing-top: Poured a dark black brown with a reddish haze, the head is beige color. The aroma is a sweet malt but very light. Taste is burnt malt very overwhelming, the tongue tingles a bit.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes strong and malty, a little bit too constant, finish somehow boring. An average beer!

Bottle. Floral hop aroma backed by some caramel. Dark mahogany color with a vigorous beige head. Thinnish body with near creamy carbonation. The flavor is caramel/toffee with floral notes and enough bitter to almost balance. There seems to be nutty spice with a light underlying sour note. For a lager this is really over the top on flavor and pizazz. The finish is not quite dry, but the floral bitter is right on. I say this is way underrated. Really tasty.
