Crisp, Flavourful, Refreshing. East Anglian malt and Goldings hops combine for a crisp, refreshing lager that’s full of flavour. A modern classic, straight from London’s back garden.

Flaske 0,33l kjøpt på Kilpishalli. Delt med Rune under seanse i heimen 9 Feb 12. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. OK hvitt luftig skum som flater ut. Myk munnfølelse. Vassen smak. Antydning til frukt. Ellers et øl på det jevne.

330ml bottle provided by Finn for our drinking session. A slight haze to a yellow-golden body with a low, white head atop. Lemony hops and semi-dry malts in flavour. Modest malt-fruity taste. Soft carbonated and rounded mouthfeel. Standard (Tromsø, 09.02.2012).

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Pale malty aroma with notes of sour dough and grassy, slightly herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a crisp carbonation. Slightly strawy malty base with notes of white bread, grassy and herbal hops; dry and moderately bitter hoppy finish. Bland but clean, reminds me of a Pilsener from the north of Germany. 25.XII.11

Bottle from Sainsburys, Kidlington, Sun 2nd October 2011 consumed the same day. Pours gold, crystal clear with a filmy white head. Light sweetish malt on the nose, sweet in the mouth, very nice actually. Definate lager feel with a bit more going on, good stuff. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

330ml bottle from Sainsburys. Gold with a rapidly fading white head; grassy aroma; crisp, grainy flavour; with fresh grassy hops to finish. A pleasant enough lager.

Big offwhite head. Paleish slightly hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Strawy fruity watery aroma with candy and raisin notes. Dry-sweetish fruity perfumy raisins taste with strawy mealy notes. Light body. Mild, mealy, fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish perfumy dusty strawy aftertaste with herbal raisiny notes. A bit dense and artificial, but not bad. Unusual. (0.33l bottle, Lørenskog Brusshop, Oslo.)

Yellow beer wth a medium and white hed. Aroma is pure and malty, grass, lemon and hint of honey. Taste is malty and sweet, smooth and some honey in the aftertaste, more bitterness would be needed to balance the sweetness. Smooth and pleasant to drink without any metallic or biting nuancees. Quite sweet, pure and easily enjoyable lager, but nothing more.

330ml bottle. Pours gold, with a large frothy head. Aroma is earthy citrus. Tastes like most lagers really. Just no corn. Needs more carbonation. London pale was a lot better.

Botttled. Hazy pale yellow, minimal head. Orangey nose. Mid sweet with light body and wel rounded mouthfeel. Straightforward but pleasant flavour of tangerine and butter. Fairy low bitterness. Quite subtle.
